Perception is Inception!

As the president too to the airwaves yesterday state his economic case, I was hoping that this was the first salvo in the battle that must be fought!  The battle Im speaking of is the one for the perception of the issues that of concern to Americans. The president must find the inception to change the current perception about his economic policies, because the current American perception is a republican one! He must change the debate, change the words and wording, indeed change the entire issue  landscape! He must drum it into the publics mind( as the republicans have done up to this point, that he is not trying to raise taxes, he is simply trying to rescind tax cuts for the rich! He muast remind the american people that it hasnt gotten worse, he prevented from being the catastrophe it could have been! Thought is perception and and the perception of the american people is and will become political reality! So It is now up to The president, if he wants to lead this nation for another term, to begin the inception that will create a positive perception of himself and his policies in the minds of the American voter. Because if he doesnt, the limbo of the one term president awaits him!

Powdered Milk

Simply put, the media is trying to make fresh dairy out of the powdered milk that is the current crop of GOP candidates, but as the saying goes, there aint nothing like the real thing baby! So while the media continues to feed america this continuous diet of Powered milk, we and the GOP are waiting for the real thing!

The Post Debate Rate

THE MOST TELLING THING THAT CAME OUT OF LAST EVENINGS DEBATE IN NH HAMPSHIRE WAS NOT WHO WON ,OR WHO EVEN EMERGED AS A FRONT RUNNER. THE MOST TELLING THING WAS THE UNISON IN WHICH THE REPUBLICANS ARE IN WANT PRESIDENT OBAMA TO BE A 1 TERM PRESIDENT! THE A GENDA IS CLEAR, IT IS NOT ONE OF PROMOTING JOBS OR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, IT IS SIMPLY A AGENDA OF POWER!FROM MICHELLE BACHMAN ASSERTING THE VERY ABOVE STATEMENT TO NEWT GINGRICH TALKING ABOUT HOW MANY MORE SEATS THEY NEED IN CONGRESS IT IS CLEAR WHAT IS THE REPUBLICAN AGENDA. AND WITH THE REPUBLICANS BEING SO STRIAGHT FORWARD ON THEIR GOAL AND AGENDA IT WILL BE UP TO THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION AND THE DEMS TO INSURE THAT THE EMBARASSMENT OF HAVING A 1 TERM PRESIDENT AND LOSING CONGRESS IS NOT GAINED BY THE REPUBLICANS!

Weiner, and debates, and palin oh my!!

So Rep weiner is taking a leave from office. clearly he needs it, because he has to be shell shocked and traumatized, but the soridiness of his situation aside( and make no mistake IF he is indeed involved with underage girls he has to go) the democrats need to somehow learn about Unity and standing together! one of the things that irks me the most about my dems is that they never put up a fight when they should and allways when they shouldnt! Can you imagine how hard the repubs would have fought for weiner if he were a republican? If the dems would have fought for health care as hard as they are fighting weiner, the 2010 electorial debacle would have never happend! as for tomorrows presidential debate simply put much ado about nothing, but the dems need to get aerious about the coming battle and NOW! cause Obama is not a lock, despite the weak republican field, and speaking of which, How the worm has turned, Sarah Palin is fast going from joke to serious political contender , to the dismay of all1 Sarah Palin in 2012? OH my!!!

Issues please!

Ok let me say to those who keep focusing on the trivial and the tabloid in politics today, be it Sarah Palins gaffes, or Anthony Weiner's weiner, enough already! There are more important things that we as a nation need to be focusing on!And to be frank the media is doing us a disservice by focusing on such trivialities when there are real issues of concern for every American! Issues that demand addressing, and issues that the media should  have center stage, not Sarah Palin fumbling historic referances or Anthony Weiner's over active libido! Issues please! I thought we learned our lesson during the lewinshky nonsense. Because while we were being distracted by all that nonsense, Bill clinton was becoming one of the most successful president's in US History! Imagine if he had allowed tabloidism to drive him out of office! Enough of tabloid issues andsilly journalism, Issues(and sarah for the love of God, stay focused on the issues please!) Not who's chasing what skirt or whatever!( and Congressman weiner remember MOB!Money over Bytches! you were within sight of gracie mansion, and you throw it away over P-ssy? Not worth it!!)but Weiner and Palin aside, it is the media who is most at fault here, because this triviality continues to detract and distract from the issues. Im sure the millions, AND millions, of unemployed dont care about mr. weiners weiner! Im sure the millions, AND millions worried about their social security arent concerned about Sarah Palins view of American history! To paraphrase one of the great sayings of the 20th century :It's the issues stupid! And it's long overdue for the mainstream media to stop catering to the jersey shore and jackass mentality in us! These are serious times, and we need a greater focus on serious issues !Not who got caught with their pants down, or with their foot in their mouth! Issues please!

is and what could be(2012)

Firstly let me say, Sarah Palin will be the republican nominee, and for all of the political hoo-hah against her now, when the media turns(and trust me it will) and she, as the nominee has to deal with the mainstream media, and vice versa, she will be a valid candidate! Her Bush/Ford clumsy media moments aside, she has the personality, and public recognition and appeal , something that the rest of the Republican field totally lacks! So I will make the first political prediction of the cycle here, it will be Sarah Palin vs Barrack Obama in 2012! And that like it or not, is a story in itself! As far as the Jobs issue goes, it is simply a matter of telling it like it is! Republican policies have been and are the architect of this jobs deficit, and they want to continue the policies that created it and maintain it. The only question will Obama and the democratic party call it like it should be seen and tell it like it is, or will they let the republicans as they did with "Obamacare" paint a skewed picture?
And let me also say this, Obama's pretty boy swag aside, if he is not careful and serious, he can and will be defeated in 2012! Pretty boy swag will not be enough this cycle and, once the smoke clears ,and the republican candidate and their message is refined,   this will be a race like no other, count on it!

the JOBS Issue

As the presidential elctorial cycle begins to take shape , it is clear that the JOBS issue will be one of primary concern in america and to american voters, and it will also be clear that whomever articulates themsleves the most succintly on the jobs issue is the party and person who will hold power in America in 2013!  The facts are quite clear, we have a economy that has stagnated due to greed, and lackadisical actions from american leadership. We have allowed corporate america and our economic competitors to virtually get away with murder so to speak, at the american consumers expense! For while we are the number one sellers market, we are the last choice for  buisness development and Jobs! And while we continue to bend over backward with tax cuts, subsidies, job incentives and the like, it seems to never be enough. And that is the question: When will enough be enough? The Bush tax cuts, which were supposed to spur "job creation" have been in effect for over 10 years now! And how high is american unemployment? So how can any candidate argue for further tax cuts? The fact is they dont work, they never have and they never will! So, how do we create jobs in America? How do we bring back corporate operations? Simply put by doing what should have been done a long time ago, get tough on the sellers and the profiteers! Again we are the NO 1 market in the world, and rather than have people dicate to us about taxes and how they cant afford to do buisness in America, it's time that we stress, in word and in deed, that you cant afford not to do buisness in America! How long will we continue to allow corporate america and the developing world to bite the hand that feeds them? The jobs issue is THE major challenge that all the candidates who will be running for president will face on the camapign trail and I can guarantee, the candidate who talks about these facts that I have cited and not the same old failed status quo of tax cuts and  better education, will be the one who gets the most traction on the issue! American made and America first, that should be the watchword in every boardroom from wallstreet to hong kong, and in every commerce dept from berlin to bejing! Its time for America to stop taking a back seat to the rest of the world, and its time for America to stop flagelating itself for the failures and unfair buisness practices of corporate  America and the developing world! We tried to be a good global citizen, and plain and simple we are getting screwed over! Enough is enough and the LEADER who adressess the job issue as it is  will be the Leader for and in the future of America!

the theatre of the absurd!

Stenny hoyer hit the nail on the head yesterday with his comment about the republicans engaging  in political theatre when it comes to the debt ceiling, and to be frank that is not the only issue where the republicans thespian tendancies emerge! The republican party's  entire social mantra these days amounts to a theatre of the absurd( and No im not talking about sarah palin and donald trump here) and that has allways been the way with the republican party. Playing at being fiscally responsible, prentending to be taking the lead, acting like they are for you and me, when in fact all they do, all they have ever done, is soldier for and protect the hoarded wealth of the rich and corporate america! The champions of tax cuts for the rich, and tax breaks for weathy corporations, protectors of the status quo, that is the republican party, and for anyone to think or believe other wise is truly ABSURD! So it remains to be seen how well the act the republican are putting on about the debt celing will be recieved by a american public who thanks to paul ryan is waking up to the act that is being put on by the republicans on capitol hill! And in 2012 the republicans may be exiting stage left as fast as they entered in 2010!
